Q: How do I register to Post?

A: To read the Spire Press Forum you need not register but you must do so to post or reply to a topic or posts on a topic. If you are a Spire Press Website Member, you are automatically registered to participate in the forum. If you are a visitor and do not wish to become a member, follow these instructions to register:

1. On the selection bar you should see Register~Click on the Register link and a Register window will open.
2. Fill in the required personal information with a valid email address. Note that your email address is your username.
3. Enter your password twice. If you forget your password, you can change it or select lost email or password and we will email it to you.
4. Click the send button at the bottom right of the Register window. You will get a message that says an email has been sent to your email address so be sure the address you enter is correct~wait a few minutes (varies depending on mail server loads) and open our email message.
5. You will see a link in our welcome message that must be clicked to complete your registration process.

• You may download a PDF version of the full article by clicking the "Download PDF" link at the top of the article.
• After logging in, you may post comments to articles in the forum, however, you may not add any new articles.
• You mail the topic to a friend with the "Email This" at the bottom right of the article.
• When posting a comment to an article, you may subscribe to that comment. Subscribing means that you will receive email notification when others post comments on that topic as well.

Q: Can I post photos or hyperlinks?

A: No. You may not post any images in comments on articles. However, within your user profile (under "My Stuff" once you are logged in) you may upload an avatar image for yourself.

Q: Can I edit my posts?

A: Yes, but only prior to posting. Once your post is reviewed by staff, it is the property of the website and my not be altered without the consent of the staff. You may ask for it to be altered or deleted by emailing forum@spirepress.com.

Q: Are posts ever deleted?

A: We reserve the right to delete posts that are no longer time sensitive. Typically, if a post is added to a topic it will remain. We also reserve the right to not add posts that violate our rules, as noted in Rules. Please read if you haven’t already done so.

Q: Can I post an event or advertise my site?

A: There is no guarantee that any material will be added as a post. You may include any information you wish. It may or may not be posted. If our staff feels something is appropriate , and something is not appropriate, your post will be edited accordingly.

Q: Can I view the forum in any language other than English?

A: No, not at this time. Although this website is committed to worldwide exposure, it is not structured for languages other than English.

Q: Can I post in any other language?

A: No. The staff is not currently able to review posts not written in English.

Q: Can I search the forums?

A: Yes, we have enabled search capability on each forum so you can search topics or posts by keyword.

Q: Can I contact subscribers from the Member List?

A: No. Personal information must remain private. If you need to contact someone in the Member List, you must contact the host who will in turn contact that person. If that person wishes to communicate, that information will then be passed on to you. (Note: If your name is registered on this site, there is no way that we can guarantee that you won’t be Googled.

Q: I have a question that is still unanswered and I don't want to ask it on a forum. Can you help me?

A: First, use our search feature and type in your search phrase. If you still cannot find the answer email questions@spirepress.com and we'll try to get an answer for you.
